The title says it all. I have multiple reports of slot fish in our local waters, the ‘little’ rivers & estuaries west of the Housie, as well as fish on the North Shore of lown guyland. Yours truly has struck out 0 for 3, albeit I’m holding off on hitting some of my money spots (excuses.). Only honest reports here ! The goal is a bass on a 6 weight fly rod by end of April.
Now is the time to be getting your boat ready as well as your gear: spooling reels, lubricate and clean reels and rods, check rod guides. Stock up on spring goodies from your local tackle shop.
